Types of Drawing

It is a drawing technique which can be used to create a strong sense of space and form. It is a very useful skill to develop for both pencil and color pencil drawings. Use a darker grade (B or 2B) of pencil for your shading. Lighter grades (H, 2H etc.) will not give enough depth to your darkest tones.

It is similar to pencil shadding but with a different tool called crayon. There are certain technique in holding and placing cryon in the papar. Press lightly, and only barely fill in areas that need shading. Leave the very brightest parts of your drawing white. Or, use your eraser to remove the pencil and make a highlight or reflection. Refer back to your subject frequently to compare it with your drawing.

A stick figure is a very simple drawing of a person or animal, composed of a few lines, curves, and dots. In a stick figure, the head is represented by a circle, sometimes embellished with details such as eyes, mouth or crudely scratched-out hair. The arms, legs and torso are usually represented by straight lines. Details such as hands, feet and a neck may be present or absent, and the simpler stick figures often display an ambiguous emotional expression or disproportionate limbs.

Gond paintings are a form of painting from folk and tribal art that is practiced by one of the largest tribes in India with whom it shares its name. Gond comes from the Dravidian expression, Kond which means 'the green mountain'.

It is a technique of painting in which small, distinct dots of color are applied in patterns to form an image. The simple dot style as well as cross hatching maybe beautifully aesthetic to the eye but has a far more hidden meaning and deeper purpose; to disguise the sacred meanings behind the stories in the paintings.

Collage is a technique of an art production, primarily used in the visual arts, where the artwork is made from an assemblage of different forms, thus creating a new whole. A collage may sometimes include magazine and newspaper clippings, ribbons, paint, bits of colored or handmade papers, portions of other artwork or texts, photographs and other found objects, glued to a piece of paper or canvas.

Watercolor painting is an art form that creates artistic representations, usually on paper, using pigments that are water-soluble. Other forms of painting use oil soluble paints or dry pigment in sticks such as pastels.

Oil painting is the process of painting with pigments with a medium of drying oil as the binder. oil paint is a mixture of three things: pigment, binder and thinner. Pigment is the colour element, while the binder (the oil) is the liquid vehicle or carrier which holds the ground-up pigment to be applied to the canvas or whatever support is to be painted. A thinner is usually added to the viscous pigment-oil mixture to make it easier to apply with a brush.

3D printing is a process for making a physical object from a three-dimensional digital model, typically by laying down many successive thin layers of a material.
